Note: Unlike Petz 4, there does not seem to be any legal way to download Petz 5 for free.
So I probably would stick with this version if you decide to play.
Petz 5 also seems to be a bit glitchy and is not backwards compatible. Since most users on the web use Petz 4, I would advise this one simply because if you want to adopt petz out to other players, you will be able to reach a larger audience by making them available to all people. Even those who own Petz 3 can adopt petz from Petz 4. Should work on all "Windows" computers, but if you want to play on a Mac. I personally don't know how to make that work. Save into "My Documents" in order to save some trouble with issues about where petz are saved and maintaining your game's data.
